Lisa McElvaney, PhD, RODC

Systems Change Director and Co-Founder

Lisa is the Systems Change Director at WISRD. She oversees issues related to collaborative stakeholder engagement, system performance, change management, and the adoption of innovations.

 

Prior to co-founding WISRD, Lisa spent many years as an internal and external organizational change and development consultant, executive coach, and professor, opening her first consulting business in Hawaii (1999). She founded Business Transformation Consulting in Colorado (2006), focusing on organizational systems analysis, human performance drivers, business strategy, and organizational design in order to improve performance, increase innovation, and create healthy, collaborative work environments. Lisa now applies her diverse experience to help organizations and communities of any size to successfully implement change.

 

Lisa has co-authored a newly published chapter for geodesign professionals on applying organizational change principles to community change efforts for enhanced stakeholder engagement. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Systems, M.A. in Organizational Change, and B.A. in Communication Studies, and is a Registered Organizational Development Consultant (RODC).
